There's over 100 breakable things to throw in Superhot: Mind Control Delete (yes, including vases). Players can also throw the aforementioned knives and katanas, which are instant kills no matter where they hit. ![]() The last type of throwables are breakable. ![]() Dart-types and shuriken-type weapons will both stick into an enemy. Without a head shot, players will need to stick an enemy twice. The other category, darts, can also instakill, but only with a head shot. Shurikens are one-hit kill items that can be thrown at an enemy anywhere in the body, except for the few enemies that have concrete or white parts. The original Superhot had throwable items, but Mind Control Delete split the throwables into three categories. The other two new melee weapons, the crowbar and the wooden stick with nails, cannot be used to block breakable throwables or bullets. The pipe in Superhot: Mind Control Delete is similar to the bat. The new bat can also be used to deflect other breakable thrown items. Eventually players will have to throw it, as it is breakable. The newly-released bat, sadly, can not be used this way. It's a one-hit kill for both melee attacks and throws, and can be used to deflect enemy bullets. The katana was the most powerful melee weapon in the original game, and continues to be so in Superhot: MCD. The new bat melee weapon in Superhot: Mind Control Delete isn't as good as its sharp cousin, the katana. However, with a bat or pipe, melee is an instant kill. Without a weapon, it takes three melee attacks to down the red enemies. Players are forced to consider whether to shoot or dodge, or to go for one of the melee weapons. ![]() The fun of the game is to have to identify enemies and extrapolate upon which future moves they may make. Superhot's calling card, its manipulation of time, was kept mainly similar in the new release. ![]()
